Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Sept. 25.

The Fox Cities Chamber’s monthly educational program, Business Breakfast Bytes, will focus on litigation strategies for business by providing attendees with practical insight and resources that can be implemented within their organization.

Heather Macklin, Attorney at Law from Epiphany Law, will lead the session and facilitate the presentation in October. The presentation will feature highly experienced professionals on litigation, including: Joey Leonard, President and HR Consultant, H.S. Group Inc.; Rob Macklin, Attorney, Epiphany Law; and Chad Messner, Commercial Account Executive, R&R Insurance.

“No one wants to litigate – it’s expensive, time-consuming, stressful and distracting,” shared Macklin. “The purpose of this panel discussion is to help business leaders understand the things they can and should be doing long before a dispute actually arises to ensure they quickly and pro-actively resolve it or, in those instances where litigation cannot be avoided, to make sure they are in a position of strength.”

At times, businesses are faced with legal disputes, where litigation is unavoidable. This informative presentation is designed to help businesses learn the necessary steps that can be taken to help protect their business from facing legal disputes. Attendees will also learn about the ways to possibly resolve the dispute as quickly and economically as possible.
