Graduates earn 904 degrees, certificates from Carroll University


About 29.8 percent of the 904 degrees and certificates handed out by Carroll University in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Waukesha conferred 142 bachelor's degrees and 76 doctor's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in kinesiology and exercise science. Data shows the school gave out 114 bachelor's degrees in kinesiology and exercise science, followed by 76 doctor's degrees in physical therapy/therapist and 75 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse.

The university enrolled 3,452 students for 2017-18, including 2,982 in undergraduate programs and 470 in graduate programs.
