80 percent of applicants to University of Wisconsin-Platteville were admitted for fall 2017

78 percent of undergraduates are residents of Wisconsin, and 21 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (89 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (4 percent).

The school admitted 80 percent of the 3,676 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 49 percent enrolled.
