63 percent of applicants to University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh were admitted for fall 2017


At University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, 88 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 61 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Oshkosh enrolled 13,933 students in fall 2017, including 12,410 in undergraduate and 1,523 in graduate programs, data shows. 6.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

89 percent of undergraduates are residents of Wisconsin, and 10 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (85 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (5 percent).

The school admitted 63 percent of the 6,457 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 37 percent enrolled.
