About 16 percent of the 1,374 degrees and certificates handed out by the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in 2016-17 were to students in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Bay conferred 212 bachelor's degrees and 8 master's degrees in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Data shows the school gave out 175 bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Management, General, followed by 171 bachelor's degrees in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies and 102 bachelor's degrees in Human Biology.

The university enrolled 7,029 students for 2016-17, including 6,757 in undergraduate programs and 272 in graduate programs.
