About 64.9 percent of the 770 degrees and certificates handed out by the Herzing University-Madison in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Madison conferred 181 associate's degrees and 156 certificates in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.
But the single most popular program was for a certificate in Medical Insurance Coding Specialist/Coder. Data shows the school gave out 67 certificates in Medical Insurance Coding Specialist/Coder, followed by 61 master's degrees in Family Practice Nurse/Nursing and 59 associate's degrees in Medical Insurance Coding Specialist/Coder.
The university enrolled 2,380 students for 2016-17, including 1,978 in undergraduate programs and 402 in graduate programs.
