About 27.5 percent of the 614 degrees and certificates handed out by the Edgewood College in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Madison conferred 120 bachelor's degrees and 42 master's degrees in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Data shows the school gave out 108 bachelor's degrees in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse, followed by 64 master's degrees in Education, General and 39 bachelor's degrees in Business/Commerce, General.

The college enrolled 2,552 students for 2016-17, including 1,661 in undergraduate programs and 891 in graduate programs.
