About 44.7 percent of the 349 degrees and certificates handed out by the Mount Mary University in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Milwaukee conferred 100 master's degrees and 33 bachelor's degrees in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in Occupational Therapy/Therapist. Data shows the school gave out 82 master's degrees in Occupational Therapy/Therapist, followed by 15 master's degrees in Counseling Psychology and 14 bachelor's degrees in Fashion/Apparel Design.

The university enrolled 1,404 students for 2016-17, including 747 in undergraduate programs and 657 in graduate programs.
