About 32.5 percent of the 77 degrees and certificates handed out by the Kaplan University-Milwaukee in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Milwaukee conferred 17 bachelor's degrees and 5 associate's degrees in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Data shows the school gave out 6 bachelor's degrees in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse, followed by 5 bachelor's degrees in Health/Health Care Administration/Management and 5 associate's degrees in Business/Commerce, General.

The university enrolled 405 students for 2016-17, including 354 in undergraduate programs and 51 in graduate programs.
